Now that our opening is behind us, what’s next? Well, besides the ever changing nature of the bars of soap on our curing racks, we actually have other plans and events in the works and we’re excited! First, we have to say a huge thank you, thank you, thank you, to all our pre- launch customers. Your support means the world to us. We can’t thank you enough for helping us work through the kinks, but, we will do what we can, so look out for an email from us in a few weeks that will include a special gift for being among our first customers. (This is for everyone who shopped with us before October 28th, 2014)
We recently had a ball with Wardeh of Traditional Cooking School, also lovingly known as GNOWFGLINS (God’s natural, organic whole foods, grown locally, in season). That podcast will air this week on November 7, 2014, so look out for that and definitely check out GNOWFGLINS. We’ve been members for the past few years, and seriously, the food we make would make somebody hurt themselves, and, the best part about that is that it’s not just good for you, it’s great for you! There’s not too much we don’t know how to make ourselves around here. We don’t just make all of skincare, haircare products and laundry powder… I’m talking everything down to crackers, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, peanut butter, chicken stock, to name a few. Quick, easy stuff too, for those who think they could never make the time to do these things. Plus, think about it, how much is your health worth to you? One of my midwives likes to say, something along the lines of, “You can choose to pay now (for good whole foods), or pay later (for all that comes with declining health).” My father in law used to say that I live and eat as if I want to live forever. That’s not true. It would tear my heart to see everyone around me go. I just want to live a quality life while I’m here. I don’t want to be sick when I know I don’t have to be sick. The moral of the story is, eat real food, leave the junk alone. There’s no such thing as junk food, it’s either food or it’s junk. 🙂
Another exciting event we’re looking forward to is coming up on the 15th of November at the Fabricland in North Plainfield, (NJ). It’s the 2nd annual Fabricland Craft Fair. We got a message from a friend saying that they were in need of a vendor who made soap and, what do you know? We make soap! So we called the store. They guy was thrilled that we called and said that a woman had just asked him if they had a soap making vendor yet and then the phone rang with us on the other end. 🙂 We’re excited to go and meet people, get our brand out there and show off our new logo and product labels. For those who have made purchases with us, how do you like our logo and labels?
Then, on December 6, 2014, we will participate in a holiday bazaar at a local church. So, there are lots of extra soap making going on in preparation for these events as well as our online sales on Ebay, Etsy, and our website.
That’s not all, we have more (bigger) news in the coming weeks but that’s all we’re sharing for now. In the meantime, please consider helping us out by spreading the word about Eden’s Pure Herbals. When someone you refer to us enters your name and email in the comment section during the ordering process, you can earn money towards free products for yourself.
We’ll leave you with our newest product review that was entered on our Facebook page just yesterday.
“I am so pleasantly surprised at how amazingly well the healing salve actually heals. I tripped up a curb Tuesday (yup, I really did) and skinned my knee pretty bad. I got home, cleaned it, put Neosporin on it and a big bandage. I have been changing the bandage with Neosporin 2 times a day with no improvement, none! It was still so raw. This morning, I remembered reading that your salve was a replacement for Neosporin and I used it instead with my big bandage. I just took it off to get in the shower and I was amazed at the healing that took place in just 1 day!!!! I showed my husband and he said it’s like the ointment they used in the hunger games movie! Thank you for making this wonderful salve, I can’t wait to see how in looks in the morning.” AG
